They picked us up from our hotel in a comfortable mini van and our tour guide was Louis who was super informative and attentive to everyone in the group.
The tour went for most of the day and Louis always took the time to stop and explain what we were seeing. It was a really adventurous tours that involved squeezing into tight spaces and swimming inside the caves - you need to have a level of mobility and fitness for sure but it is totally worth it - the experience was unlike any other cave we had visited, The Mayan artefacts are everywhere and the history and information you get is really amazing.
Once we exited the cave we had a warm lunch waiting for us. I advise taking water shoes otherwise be prepared to get your running shoes wet - there is no way around that - they will get completely wet.
A highlight of Belize and Yaxche really looked after us. Highly recommend these guys More

  I just did the ATM tour with Yaxche Adventures. Generally, it was well-organized, and the caves were magnificent. The bus picked us up punctually, and all necessities were provided. ... read more /> Unfortunately, our guide did not provided us with any information until we got into the cave, which was too bad, since we were all interested in learning about the surrounding area. Inside the cave, he was very knowledgeable and informative.
My other concern was that the vegetarian meal option was very disappointing - considering we paid the same price as the meat-eaters, and we didn't get any protein or any fruit!
